1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Junior School
We are seeking to recruit one post at Boldmere Junior School that will involve 1:1 and small group support for the academic, social and personal development of a pupil with significant and complex SEND needs.
The successful candidate working across the Federation of Boldmere Schools will:
- Provide one-to-one support for a child with complex special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Support learning activities, speech and language development, and social integration.
- Assist with personal care, if required, in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Implement individual learning and behaviour plans under the guidance of the Leadership Team, SENDCO and teaching staff.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom activities and school events.

The successful applicant/s will be offered the post on condition of suitable references and subject to the necessary pre-employment checks including an ‘on-line check’ as per the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education.
