Our School
Welcome to our school family.
As the Executive Head teacher, I am delighted to welcome you to the Federation of Boldmere Schools. Since being appointed as the Executive Head Teacher September 2016, I continue to enjoy the challenges of my role and want to ensure that everything I do, has a positive impact upon all of the children, staff and parents/carers at our schools.
I feel that the transition from being the Head Teacher of the junior school into my current role, has been both smooth and successful. Having the responsibility of leading the schools is an absolute privilege and certainly one that I do not underestimate and feel incredibly privileged to be in. Ensuring children are happy and cared for at our schools is an absolute priority and all staff are aware of this ethos.
It is absolutely essential for the schools to continuously build upon the great work that is taking place across both schools, whilst retaining the individuality of the provision that is being offered in each setting. Working in such a well organised collaboration, enables us to identify what will benefit the pupils at our schools, which is always the priority of our decision making processes.
Leading the school with the help and support of our Heads of School, Mrs Kenny at the nursery and infants and Mr Sadler at the juniors is proving to be very successful. We will continue to build our relationship so there is a seamless blend of education from Nursery through to Year 6. I am also very pleased with the opening of our Inclusion Base (2019), which allows us to support children who have EHCPs with a primary need of ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition). This is a wonderful addition to our fully inclusive school.
We have the needs of the children at the heart of everything we do, and we recognise the valuable contribution that parents and carers play in order for us to achieve our goals. It is vital that we continue to build upon our continuous successes of our high performing schools, so we can go from strength to strength and improve further.
