Class Teacher with Year Group Leadership Responsibility - Junior School
Boldmere Junior School is looking to appoint an excellent teacher and inspiring leader, who has a proven, successful track-record of securing the very best outcomes for all children. The post will be class-based with leadership time provided. It will also carry a significant subject leadership responsibility, to be determined and negotiated with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic school, with hardworking and aspirational children and highly motivated and committed staff. The successful candidate will positively support colleagues and offer constructive challenge where needed, in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. Specifically, school leaders are looking for a candidate who:
- Leads by example as a teacher, achieving high standards of pupil attainment through consistently effective and motivational teaching.
- Effectively monitors and evaluates the impact of the school’s curriculum.
- Demonstrates the qualities needed for successful leadership and can evidence the impact of this within their current role
- Has the ability to communicate key messages and initiatives effectively with all stakeholders
- Will inspire and motivate pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
- Will support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our children aligned to the school’s core values and ethos.
- Will take responsibility for ensuring the highest possible standards with regards to behaviour and attitudes.
The Federation of Boldmere Schools is made up of Boldmere Infant and Nursery School and Boldmere Junior School, two successful three-form entry schools, complimented further by the Boldmere Inclusion Base. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employers and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will require an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential for this role.
